Plenty of Teddy Boys frequented Tudor Hall on Royal Avenue and the girls were just as stylish stiletto heels and either very tight skirts or ones with lots,of net petticoats  big earrings high pony tails This was 1950s John Dossors wasn't too far away jiving downstairs and upstairs strictly ballroom Tudor Hall was on right hand side

Thank you very much, i was wondering if you would no if there was a Dance hall in Royal Avenue called McCarthy’s?? Near the end my grandad kept saying McCarthys but were not sure if there was said place and if it was in royal Ave

Not sure,but,I think Tudor,Hall was Mc Carthys  He taught ballroom dancing and downstairs great music great jivers and atmosphere  It was definitely on Royal Avenue
