Vinylshop? Where in Belfast?
« on: September 14, 2006, 03:16:38 PM »
Hi every1 :]
That's my 1st post on this forum but i'm in Belfast for 2 months.
I was looking for any Vinyl Shop with electronic music vinyls, but haven't found any.
And Virgin Megastore doesn't meet my expectations.

So, does any1 know any vinyl shop in Belfast? I'd be glad for any hints :)

Thanks a lot =]

PS. sorry if i posted in wrong place. :)

I've asked a friend and am waiting for a reply.

Hiya wodniq,

Welcome to the Forum. This board is ideal for your query.
Are you looking for the latest Vinyl, older items or specialist items?

Have you tried the following:

Back Beat
Haymarket Off Royal Avenue 9033 3131

Hector's House,
5, North Street Tel: 028 9023 4040

HMV (UK) Ltd
Donegall Arcade, Castle Place Tel: 028 9023 8494

There's a guy opposite Back Beat who may be able to help you.
He's called Terri Hooley. I'm sorry I have been unable to find his number.

All the Best, Christopher

Sorry for the delay.  My friend was away from her computer.

She tells me this:

Backbeat Records on Great Victoria Street do some vinyl. For old, rare, stuff there's Hector's House in Lower North Street. Pricy when you're buying, robbery if you're selling. Caveat Emptor.

Which is much the same as Christopher wrote earlier.     :(

There is no shop compares with what you can buy on ebay in vinyl records.
