Why not indeed. We lived in Moyard for a few years in the late 70's and my wife's Aunt and Uncle still live in Glenalina Rd. Stay with us, its a great forum and we are all very friendly.

hi b.m.girl i lived in murph for about 1 year 70 but moved back
down da road.but i have still family living der in b.murphy road
beside da bull ring. O0

Welcome I used to live in Glenalina with my sister and her family many moons ago.Did yoy know Rosie Llyness now thats not how you spell her surname but it sounds like that she lived in Whitecliff I think I havent seen her in years as it been awhile since you have been home.  :)

Will i did know lynas,s from whitecliffe there were two familys with the same name

I have been left many years but do come back home often

The Lynas i knew had a Rosie & eldest girl Lily & the youngest whos name i cant remember which is awaful as we were friends

The oul memory going there

yes lived there untill 1973 worked with Rosie in the the Star on the Donegal rd

I haven t seen Eileen in manys a year

well there was  Marie,Maggie and Rosie they also had brothers I dont know of any other sisters we all worked the the Star in Nubia st off the Donegal rd did you work at the sewing at all.The Lynases all were  haired and brown eyed from what I can remember Rosie and myself used to have a laugh..

what was the mill you worked in Iworked in Conway mind you I was only there 2wks my hands broke out in a rash that was me finished thankgod then I came to Dublin in 73 been here ever since ;)

Iam living in Dublin this 35yrs now but go north often,  where are you and have you family now? I have two  one of each both born here one is in college and my daughter is working I am going to watch the match now Dublin v Tyrone should we are  both from Belfast so we will be rooting for Tyrone while the kids for Dublin see who wins bye for now   .
