hi ballymurphy,  i lived in turf lodge just up the road and had friends who lived in ballymurphy as well as kin, get me ;D  would you know anyone called ann burns i chumed it with her for a while or rosetta hall  i worked with rosetta in ulidia on the donnegal rd.  sixtyniner

My sister in law worked there

In remember her getting us them black jackets that were all the rage in the early 70,s

hi ballymurpht girl,  did you mean the reefers, sorry all you pot heads ;D  the reefers i mean were jackets  ;D  i had one and the duffle coats i loved especially going home at night in the winter. sixtyniner

yea old movies new them all. Worked in the mill 19years. Tony lives at the end of Shepard's path  Turf lodge end of the Whiterock rd.  Was over at Paddy Hannas grave yesterday. He is buried near facing St Johns chapel. Paddy was a good friend of mine. Sadly missed.

I to lived near you i lived in divismore cresent,but my cousins the mackins lived in glenalina pk or cres they lost a 13 year old daughter killed during the troubles in springhill,the murph is not the same as what it was all them years ago,but im still glad to call myself a murphman.

I left 1974 back and forth for a while then settled down here
