The Irish Post.
« on: September 15, 2006, 02:14:50 PM »
Keep you fingers crossed and say a little prayer please. I sent a message to The Irish Post requesting a link back. This paper is getting great value as this is it's special thread. I saw little point in a link being created to Belfast Forum on its own so I added a couple of suggestions of sites that could also be linked. Here's the copy of my letter to them .. Good Afternoon Irish Post, I noticed your website address on Belfast Forum so thought I'd look at your excellent website. Where are you hiding your links thread? Is there any way you could provide a link back to the Belfast Forum? There's an old expression "The Lord loves a trier." Too true. I am trying. While you are at it .. linking back to forums would you consider linking to three other sites where I regularly post. There's no point in one .. you may as well have a "bargain bundle" http://www.enniskillen.com/craic/index.php http://www.derry.com/forums/index.php http://www.buncrana.com/forums/index.php Belfast Forum has a few sister forums in Britain .. Birmingham, Glasgow,Manchester Community Forum and Newcastle Forum. All the Best, Christopher

Good Luck Christopher, lets hope we are important enough in the eyes of the blindsided editor to give us a bit of space that has been used for rubbish posts!
Either that or we will pass round the hat for the save the Christopher Donations.

Unfortunatly many editors are not humans they are actually one armed bandits.
If ya cant be good be careful.
