There were a number of people called Orange LIL/LILY.  Many of them wore the Union Jack dress.  There used to be a group of them from Brown Square and they would dance outside Unity Flats while the parades were passing.  One of them was called Sadie Godfrey.  The story about a daughter killing her mother, an Orange Lil is correct. I think it happened in East Belfast.  There used to a pirate radio station on air at the start of the troubles and there was an Orange Lil on that I believe she was a J. Coulter?

Here am I giving a piece of history on Orange Lilies and I kick with the foot. ;D ;D  No offence to anybody.

Grandadjoe, it isn't.  It runs off Albertbridge Road, just around the corner from Mountpottinger Road and before you come to Templemore Avenue.  Some of the houses in Cluan place back onto Clandeboye.

Are you sure about that? I know there are some from Sandy Row in the museum there. Maybe some from both places.

These are the Orange Lilies I remember.  They were very colourful every 12th July

I hope this brings back memories to some.

Her name was Nelly.
Yes she was killed by her daughter.
And yes Albert bridge road area is correct

I am related to both.
