I remember it well I used to be dragged in with my ma and dad, I remember Sammy Osbourne and a woman called Phyllis,
and a guy I think worked in the Telegraph think he was called Poncho(nick name I presume)

That would have been Pancho. He was a larger-than-life character ... looked a bit like a Celtic warrior. He worked in the Tele's process department.
Pancho was a wild man when he had the drink on him. I can hear him now saying to me: "Away on wi' ye, ye big balloon man, ye."
By the way, I think that was the Bob Young 'corner'.

That sounds about right , I was only about 10 or 11 but always remember him, do you  remember anyone else from there, maybe my dad, Jack or bill as they used to call him big english man always up and down to the bookies next door :)

'Fraid not. I would have been in my late teens then, and didn't drink in the Horse that often.
