What sort of "band"?

So do they play blues music, or Irish traditional music, or jazz, trad or otherwise?  Are they a Steely Dan clone?  Perhaps they are a Scottish Pipe Band, or an American college marching band?  There's not much room there, and I think I can safely say they won't be a "Big Band", in the general, Glen Miller sense of the term.

Still, it would be nice to know what sort of music one could expect to hear from The Roy Fulton Band while enjoying a pint of ale or a meal.

Thanks G.

As they play country, I'll avoid it!  All that DIVORCE, Jolene and Ruby stuff    ugh!

Girls with G Strings ???

A guy named Don who assists Jackie Flavelle's daughter, Lisa, with her late nite show on Downtown Radio on Mondays and Wednesdays 10.00pm - 1.00am knows about the above band. That's all I can find out about them at the moment. I've sent Don a message to find out more.

G, if you require a G string ... I presume it's musical terminology ... I've some spare strings but don't know if one's a G string. I wonder if those girls would like a guy to give them a hand carrying their equipment. Not all venues are equipped with facilities for acoustic sessions and sometimes musicians have to bring their own.

Should we give Girls with G Strings a separate thread ???

I know about Roy's site. He's one of my MySpace friends. My problem at the moment is that Google is not being too good at finding info about those girls with their G Strings
