I've been drinking in Belfast city centre for almost 40 years and I'd say at the moment, the best pint of Guinness is to be had is in the Crown.

The most annoying bars are the ones that employ students or young kids who have no idea about bar etiquette.

They never know who is next in line and serve whoever shouts/ waves etc. Very annoying indeed.

Rant over.

@machinehead
hmm I would say if the bar is not very busy and like 5 person in line they always ask whose next or so.
Noone should wave or shout he/she will be ignored even by students and kids.
There is not big difference from pubs now I don't like when they pull too much in glass, then all ur hand's wet.

morrisons, crown and kelly's(or sth one at the back of tesco in city centre) are best

Does no one know the names of any Belfast Bar Persons ???

The majority of posts are about pubs and haven't referrred to people.

The Roddy family are fine pint pullers ... the lads learnt from their Dad and their daughters and their sons have learnt from them. The girls did a fine job pulling pints of Guinness in the Rotterdam.

Have a look at the pint puller in this link www.ciac.ca/biennale2007/en/sims-t.html
