Meeting people in Belfast
« on: May 04, 2006, 04:58:58 PM »
I'm a 30 something female from Philadelphia traveling to Belfast in a couple weeks.  Can anyone tell me where is a good place to go to meet friendly locals?

Hiya Sunfire,

Are you still here? Have you been and gone? Will you be returning to Belfast sometime? I am sorry no one on the Forum said "Hello."

My friends and I have only just arrived on this site. We are from a genealogy site where we assist people who are searching for their Irish Roots. If your ancestors came from the Belfast area, or anywhere in Ireland, please post on the Genealogy board on this site.

One last question. Did you have a good time in Belfast?

All the Best, Christopher.

Hiya June,

This thread's a bit like a Trappist monastery. It's been several months since a message was posted on this subject. You'd think with the number of people living in Belfast we could find something to say on the sunject. I find that the John Hewitt in Donegall Street is a pleasant place to meet people.
