I think we should follow Mary Lennon's example, Mageeka, and mention Lisa Dorrian too. The site has a Confidential board if anyone has any information about Lisa. It must be terrible to lose a child and hear so little for such a long time.

Mary
A full scale effort  to big business to ask them to donate to a reward foundation for the missing.   This can also include personal donations.
As they say, money is oftimes a key that opens doors

Mary if you know of sites, such as that of Lisa and Nassima, please add them.
Here's another one ... It's the National Missing Persons Street Seen website

The figures are horrific, Mary. Forums such as this one should do all they can to help. I've just posted some details on the Buncrana and Enniskillen websites and will be posting on others too. More is known about those under 18 who go missing than any other group. According to the Children's Society each year in the U.K. 100, 000 young people run away or are forced to leave home to escape problems. Of this figure 77,000 children under 16 are running away for the first time.

Cheers Mary, that was a great idea.

The Salvation Army have a Family Tracing Services section, giannineo. Let us pray that some of the people who are missing are alive and well and contact their loved ones, to let them know where they are and what they are doing, over the Christmas period. In many cases that's all that is required .. they can take their time about returning home if things were not the best at home. Please .. if you are a young person reading these lines and you've run away from home get in touch with someone .. either those at home or one of the caring organisations. They will let the people at home know you are safe and well.

Karen Kelly and her partner Drew are still looking for their son Marty (who had a job at the Priory Inn at Holywood). He was last seen on 1st January this year. At Christmas last year the family, and Marty in particular, were looking forward to so many things. A couple of dozen of Marty's friends had been at the family home in Holywood on Christmas night. On New Year's Eve Marty went to a couple of parties, stayed overnight with a friend and then spent New Year's Day watching football on the TV in a pub. His friends think he must have been in the loo when they all got a taxi and moved on to another pub. They called his mobile and he said he'd catch up with them when he'd finished his pint. He never arrived to join them.

Marty was both godfather and uncle to his sister Fiona's first child Caoillin ... he had bought a house in Bulgaria ... he was due to finish his apprenticeship, having served his time, as a plumber. He had done voluntary work in Africa and was planning to travel to Australia where the family were looking forward to meeting him this Christmas. Alas this wasn't to happen and instead they've had a worrying year looking for Marty. The people of Holywood raised £12,000 to help Karen and Drew in their efforts to find Marty. Karen and Drew covered a camper van with Marty's pictures and drove from Scotland to London, handing out posters, in their efforts to find him. There's an article, about Marty, in the Winter edition of a magazine called "Pick Me Up" Please keep your eyes open. If you think you have any information, however trivial it may seem to you, please contact the confidential helpline 0800 555111

A new video on Bebo, if you have a Bebo account, please add Lisa as a friend and watch the video, its so heartbreaking and also wonderful that so many still do care, people are adding her and although the site was created a while back, its in the past few days it has taken off as a few children from the school Lisa went to starting adding and sending her, we're hoping lots and lots of people will do the same. Thank you
