This is Old Wallion roller skating at the Floral Hall in Bellevue in 1969. I am at the front with the girl in Hotpants. I think her name was Jean and she lived in Rathcoole. The other girl may have been her sister. :) :)

If only the Bellevue steps were to look as good today as they were then
Many a time i ran up and down the steps and its such a shame how they look today.
The Belfast city council should do something to save such a beautiful landmark :angry2:

Back home to live in Bellevue Park with the zoo at the top of the street.
Still lots of snow in the garden so can't see the zoo being open this weekend.
Polar bear and Penguins must be enjoying the weather though.
Great memories of going to the zoo as a kid at Easter and rolling our eggs down the hill.

The Zoo closed signs due to adverse weather were placed at the road to the Zoo entrance today.
I walked the carpark tonight and there Is no sign of a thaw.Snow still deep
