Hi all, Just in, have been out allllllllllll day, started this morning with going to get my snow tires on, then dropped some stuff of to the Salvation Army, then to the bulk barn to stock up on some baking stuff and then shopping. I did get a few more gifts of the list so it was a good day. I am going now to watch TV, the tree lighting at Rockefeller Centre is on at 8pm, with Micheal Buble & Neil Diamond. Got a few more cards to write so as I can post them tomorrow. And then that's it. Sweet Dreams to you all.
hi irish, sounds like you had a fruitful day..take it easy..i know it's thursday.. :D

Val, that's a good sign that you are feeling a bit better, when you are talking about baking.  Hope you continue to improve.  :-*

It's very cold here at the moment, but thankfully no snow yet!

You all seem to be busy with Christmassey things - I've a few cards to write, but can't get my mind set to it, well, more to the point, my finger joints are aching with the cold, - I wish I could put them all on here and type the addresses out etc., then it wouldn't be as bad as trying to hold a bloody pen! >:D

Jean, Ruby & Jackie, the time will fly till you are all in the heat again, you lucky ducks! :-*

69'er, I hope your ear infection is clearing up love, nothing worse.  :-*

To everyone else, take care and stay warm.  I'm for the Doc's this afternoon and know before I go I'm in for a telling off!   ::)   Ah! Well, at least I've broad shoulders - and not just from swimming!  ;) :D
sally ann, i know this was yesterday but how did the dr's visit go..  i'm hoping the antibiotics start kicking in soon as i've so much crap in my chest i can't get up..anyway can you put a heating pad on  your poor fingers for a while... :-*

Hiya Jean, I'm very well thank you.  You sound full of beans and well ahead with your preparations for Christmas.  I'm just trying to catch up after gallivanting around the place with my cousin for two weeks.  I haven't even got my cards away yet.  Miss Renae coming today to stay for the weekend.  She needs help with some school projects - well what are grandparents for anyway?   We've had lots of thunderstorms this week, but today is gorgeous.  What date do you leave for Alabama?   :-* :-*

Quote from Sally Ann. I wish I could put them all on here and type the addresses out etc., then it wouldn't be as bad as trying to hold a bloody pen! :D" src="http://belfastforum.co.uk/Smileys/excellent/angry2.gif">

When your fingers feel better you should put all the address on your computer. This is what I have been doing for years. Then I just print of the address labels. That was the bit that I always hated doing. Writing in the card not a problem. I use a program from Avery Labels and you can download it free. Here is the link if anyone wants it.

IrishD  Thank you for that link, I will certainly give it a try.

Was in the process of doing it on our last computer when it went bye - bye. Tom keeps saying to me that it would be easy to do it on here, but of course, when I ask him to show me - - - as usual, he's a NO SHOW!  :D

The tree is standing but not decorated yet, I'll do it tonight, we're going to do some Christmas shopping today.
