Hi yes I lived in Garton Way from 1954 until I got married in 1970. My Mum and DaD moved I believe in 1973/1974. Had a very happy childhood growing up there.

Hi Dennis Nice to here from you from over there I was 70 last year still living in Newtownabbey on the Doagh road about  3 miles from the old white city.I drove through it a few months ago, not the same as any more I am sure you know they knocked it down and rebuilt it. I have 2 children a daughter aged 45 and a son aged 38 , 2 grand daughters 19 & 13 years old. Been retired for 8 years have about 3 holidays each year in Spain or there abouts to get a bit of sun shine, I guess living in Canada you don,t need to leave the country to find all you want for holidays have you been home to Ireland

Have a great 2015 Regards Jim McC

Have not seen Roy McConnell since he lived in Rathcoole at Derry Hill shops in the late 60s. I know his marriage sadly broke up. They both worked in Belfast Cables. Roy went to Whitehouse PS.
