I can say...that is bottom of fortwilliam. at bottom gates...and I live there:) in 80s new houses built and a tragedy happened in house right beside.

i remember them, took my scrap to ceasar , used to see buck alec there when i was a kid,got a faint memory of some one being put through a chip shop window, was that ceasar? my dad and him were close but i dont know why,my dad died in 2010, and we have since found out he had a double life, civil servant by day, and flash harry by night and weekends, money no object, but it wasnt dads money

Hi Macroyal, sorry I've just seen your post; was Buck Alec the chap with the lion?

I vaguely recall mad family tales of lions, but I think I confused them with the lions that seemed to be constantly escaping from the circuses held at The Grove!  :)  That's a great snippet of family info, thank you...

in his yard , i was lucky or unlucky depends on how you look at it :D to
meet him as a young boy as he was a friend of my dad , heres a peace i

Pentio that's not the garage Margaret is looking for that's the Esso station where I once worked we posted this
on our shore rd thread , the one Margaret WAS looking for is of her Fathers  and his father before that which I found for her couple of years back , she now  has it in her collection ,,the garage is where the car is on the left going into the entrance, I knew her family well as I grew up on the shore rd,,  thank you for the thought she would appreciate it  ,,regards tommy
