An appeal for unwanted items for the BHF

Ken Blair, Chief Executive of the British Heart Foundation, has issued an appeal on behalf of the BHF's Northern Ireland shops. They need any unwanted, good quality books, bric a brac, CDs, clothing, DVDs, handbags and shoes. All donated items will assist the charity to fight heart disease which is the single biggest killer in the province. Last year the BHF shops raised more than 14,000,000 for the charity which helped thousands of vulnerable heart patients. Unless donations are received from the local community in areas in which the shops are located the BHF risks a reduction in the care and support available to heart patients.
