Really don't know Teragram.  The only person I knew from down the road was a girl in John St called Sally McGreevy. ;)

Tera,

are you still looking for that girl's name. I have a 1949 Directory and there is no Hamill in it. Any other clues?

Just looked up Hamill St and I think Teap may have a Street Directory.  I am sure if you send her a pm she will help if she can.

Thanks McNamee and Val.    I would imagine 1949 might be just a wee bit too early Val  but thanks for looking anyway. She is a girl from one of the photos IRISHDIVA put on in hthe Sandy Rd thread.

I hope Colette can put you out of your misery. Irishdiva is going to have to dig deeper in her memory bank. :D

No not yet McNamee.  I just need someone to confirm that there was a family called Hamill who lived in the area of Hamill St.
