I lived in Hamill st with my aunt in the 60's and 70's and hung around with the Mc Veighs, Ramseys Quigleys etc but cannot recall a Hamill

1949 Belfast Street Directory. ..I thought the names might ring a bell.

I am hopeless with Belfast Streets but I looked at streets running off Hamill St etc.

In Barrack St # 36 is a  Hamill

 in   Divis St.  # 9  Agnes Hamill, Bakery

Yes, there was a Mrs Hamill and her daughter who lived in  Barrack Street in the late 1950's.  I worked with them in the Richmond clothing Company, Kent Street, Belfast1958 to 1963.  The daughter had blonde her and Mrs Hamill
