Andersonstown

I lived in Andersonstown for 12yrs and left in 1968 on the Glen Road end beside the CBS and went to St Teresa's primary School left school in 1967..anyone out there remember these years ??

What part of Andersonstown did they live in  was it close to the Holy Child school...

Sorry plaza hopper for not getting back to you sooner my NTL has been playing up I cant get through when that happens I dont really know too many people from around that end of Andersonstown I know the O Hares and the Bradys as they went to St Teresa's on the Glen Road did you know anyone who went to that school between 1957 and1967 those where my years there the best years of my life :D

I used to work with a girl from A/town - Irene Verner (her maiden name). She went to Australia to live - probably late sixties or early seventies and might still be there. Anyone know her?

Now thats a name that someone should know there cant be too many I never heard of it What part did she come from do you know I take it you did leave her home at some stage  ;) ;)

I just can't recall the street and I'm sure I heard it often enough back in the day. We worked in Gordon Howson (electrical wholesalers) on Orby Road in the late sixties. I agree though, Verner is not a very common name in Belfast.

Well I have some explaining to do ;)I thought you said you went with her should have gone to Specsavers  :D bause I also thought it was A boys name but I should have checked first O0 O0 are you from around there yourself..
