after mentioning Stephany Lewis, I accepted a friend request from my best friends sister, and low and behold her best friend is Stephany, she mentioned her two brothers of whom i have met one, as i have said before , my memory is very short term, think Stephany said her brothers are Ian and Martin, I was right about her friend Norma, she has fond memories of the lad i used to go up to her house with, but she dosn't remember me at all, thats me in a nutshell, friends with everyone ,but not remembered, when i posted pictures of me on anyone from the shore road area when i was 10 or 11 i got a load of replies, saying i remember you now, i had been on the forum for a couple of years before anyone remembered me, lol

Thanks for that brownlow tell Willie and Arthur i was asking about them, Arthur was in the same class as me and Idris in dunlamert, in 1969 we went to llandudno in north wales with the BB Willie got a huge stick of rock, someone hid it in the piano, Willie walked around for days saying wheres my rock, some one bashed the piano keys and the stick of rock broke, thats my lasting memory of willie, cheers ,

I moved to the White City in 1952/3 and lived there until 1972. I lived on Portmore Hill  , went to the Throne primary until1959. Played on the football team - some of names I remember are Jim Davis, (Thornburn Road )Brian Parkhill,( Kernan  Close )Albert Maclin (Longlands)

Wilmac we lived at 53 Portmore Hill. We moved in 1963 when I was 3.  Did you know the Burns family? Mr and Mrs Burns, Terry, Marianne, Geraldine and I was born in 1960.

Hi ouldoll .I lived at 67a Portmore Hill. I do remember your brother Terry , also Tom Priest , who lived opposite your house.
I have the book Hearthlands which is excellent - it certainly brought back memories. Great picture on the front cover.

Marianne Elliott is my sister.  Google her.  She was head of the Institute of Irish Studies at the University of Liverpool until she retired.  Sadly, Terry died when he was 38 from a heart attack.  Can you message me privately? If you want to tell em your real name, I'll tell Marianne I've been talking to you.

Hi ouldoll,
Not sure how to message you privately.
If you want I can give you my email address. Sorry to hear about Terry.
I now live in Canada, but return to NI from time to time.
