I attended Belfast High in Glenravel Street from 1944 to 1948 under Dr. R.H. Harte, I enjoyed my time there and played Rugby with the 1st XV.     Clifton Street and Carlisle Circus were a lot different then.     David.

Hi, I was at the Jordanstown site from 1963 to 1966.  Dr Harte was still there at that stage.  Teachers I remenber were: Sid Farr, Tiny O'Neill, Mr Wibley, Mr Wetherall(?), Pop McCorry, Mr Goode.

Remember Pop McCorry he was a hoot! Sid Farr, Raymond Ardis, Nan Carson, Mr McKittrick, Herbie the Maths teacher and Mr Malcolmson, oh and Mr Kerr the Latin teacher who read us Three Men in a Boat and Winnie the Pooh! Remember sneaking up to the hockey pitches behind the shed for a smoke, courting along the Lough Shore waiting for The Newtownabbey Town Service bus, and oogling the boys as they played Rugby beside us while we were supposed to be playing hockey!

I went to BHS from 71-77. Remember all the teachers Hcoid mentioned and another not J.D.
Did get in touch with couple to past students via their website a few years ago, but it seems to be discontinued.
