Samuel young

I am looking to try and find info on my granfather Samuel young born around 1895 c if anyone has inf can you please let me know  thank you  :(

Just a small tip for you. You would need to get a little more info on him like the name of his wife or Father/Mother to use as a reference point. A later address have a good think about it. It will make all the difference. Good luck.

Sorry should of thought Samuel worked at Harland and wolfe his wife was Susannnah McClochlan they lived in lillyput st he had children Annie Susannah Mary Elizabeth Hughie Edward and Steph en  O0

Here is a likely marriage for your grandfather:
 
Record Type Civil Marriage
Date of Marriage 29 Jun 1910
Groom Name samuel YOUNG
Bride Name susan MCLOUGHLIN

Civil District Belfast
County Down
 
Details of their marriage certificate can be obtained for £6 from : http://www.groni.gov.uk/index/order_certificates.htm quoting the names  Samuel Young and Susannah McLoughlin, the Registration district: Belfast Registration year : Apr - Jun 1910, Volume: 1 Page: 458

This would mean he was probably born earlier than your c 1895.
This looks like them in the 1911 census, boarding with a family called Farrelly in Anderson Street, with a new born son called John Thos, whose details have been altered on the actual census form.(see second link).

Samuel is recorded as a "Rivetter" and aged 25 in 1911 which would make his birth around 1886.

Hi Ugee, I am also trying to find info on Samuel and Susannah Young, this is my great grandparents, I have managed to find some information if you would like to get in touch. My Dad is Hugh Charles Young, which would be Samuel and Susannahs grandson.

Thomas Farrelly, who he boarded with, is mt gtgt grandfather. He worked in iron works, I think.

Samuel and Suzannah's wedding cert contains following info:

Samuel from Earl St, father Samuel Young - carpenter
Suzannah from Anderson St, a spinner - father: John McLoughlin, a dealer
Witnesses: John and Elizabeth Dempsey

Interested to hear what else you find about Samuel.
