BEECHMOUNT POLTERGEIST
« on: August 16, 2009, 09:03:27 PM »
Has anyone heard of the story about a woman poltergeist terorrising a man and his family in BEECHMOUNT GROVE?

Apparently a priest (Father O'Donnell) from Clonard went to the house and exorcised it!

There apparently is a book on this subject Zippy and some people have posted about it on the Old Belfast Ghost stories thread. However, the book seems virtually impossible to get hold of and there is very little info about it out there. I would love to know more too if anyone has any info. Take care, Flossie ;)

I remember reading about this event at the time zippy and I also read the book which a good friend loaned to me some time ago. It was quite scarey reading about it.  I wouldn't like to live in a house like that or even at either side of it!  :o :o :D
