couldn't take my eyes of the screen.  It was very well done and the tour guides did a fantastic job of describing the conditions of the jail during the 19th century.  Thanks for sharing.

I watched this video, very good I enjoyed the history and the story. Would like to have seen included the ghost stories and the tale of the Banshee in 1961.
Your group Newlodge.com are doing some great and valuable archival work, keep going. Good job.

Very good,; a lot of history laced with horror sadness and humour. As for Joe Docherty should  he not be nicknamed
"Big [email protected] Doc" or something like that :D

Could not see the names of the graves at the back garden in the Jail. Did you read the book by Patrick Greg?
The hanging room gave me the creeps.

Thankyou so very much for sharing this - i found it extremely interesting and informative. I did the tour when they first began and found the place really very oppressive and gruesome, particularly the hanging room - very sad indeed to think that children in particular had to endure such dreadful conditions and treatment. Again, many thanks for sharing this interesting link on Belfast Forum.  :good:
