Adding to this list...

Pete Fowler, English (later VP)  [Still remember him reading "The Invisible Man" for Junior Certificate]
Ivan Black, Music  (played a mean clarinet)
Wesley Beggs, Chemistry
The Bounce Sterling, French/German

These guys must have been getting long in the tooth.  I was at the Model at the end of the 50s and they were there at that time . .  along with The Bull and Ernie.

Those teachers are familiar to me from when I was there '69- '74.
Couldn't say the best years of my life.

Couldn't say the best years of my life.

know a few of these teachers.

there was also:

Maggie fry - biology
miss presler? - English  only there for a year or two
windy McDowell - geography
Lawrence McConnell - geography
ray blaine - PE and contact teacher for 5 long years - sure he had the mobile dandruff!!
ray McDowell - pe and French
billy sharpe - physics
big "andy" Anderson - history
alfie crockett - Tech drawing and also taught judo
The Jant - maths
The Rev McAllister - RE

and so many more between my formative years of 1976 - 1981

can't say I enjoyed the school, but then I look back through my now rose tinted glasses with affection at some of the antics we got up to, and some of the teachers were good craic - Maggie was always good for a bit of double entendre
