Betty   -  You didn't live in the Pre Fabs - he is mistaking you with someone else - The prefabs were the Prefabricated  houses were near Sydenham station on Inverary Ave(now Drive) which runs into Inverary Ave. just past Station Rd.  They are now gone.

Desi, I remember the Pre Fabs now. I knew a couple girls that lived there. Marjorie Naylor was one. Happy Easter Desi. :air_kiss:

Betty    Yes I do he used to tease the hell out of all the kids.  Funny -  I told you before my last job before leaving Belfast was a bus conductor(1year)he was still there at the Short Strand depot of course I spoke to him about that. We had a chuckle - What you may not have known - he always wore his conductors hat - HE WAS BALD AS A COOT!  How about that.

:D  Desi, while I was at school in the town my chum was working in a wareroom downtown but she was very small and she was always trying to get on the bus for a half but Gilbert was,nt having anything and she never got away with it. One of my oldest friends who lives now in Vancouver David Harbinson, his Dad was a conductor Billy Harbinson and he never took my bus fare of me which meant I had more money to go to the dance. :D :air_kiss:
