ewarts row ppl?

heya everybody
my grangmother ans I jus found this forum and she is mad to find out about her
old neighbours on Ewarts Row, she lived there until 1969
i would be so grateful if anybody knows anythin they could get in touch!

   Hi this is my 1st. post :smile:  Are you related to Samuel (Sam) McCrum, he lived in the end house in Ewarts Row, beside Walton Place ?

hi . i knew a susan mccrumb from ewarts row who was in my class in school  Edenderry secondary in Tennent st think she had a sister kathleen .   i was at a wedding last year and met  2 sisters from the row maureen ,sally and a brother victor .

Hi Honestmay --- maureen,sally & victors name was'nt coates by any chance?  i think susan & kathleen were sam's cousins. Might be wrong it was a long time ago

Hi Mc Crum, Are you related to a Doris Mc Crum who used to live at the bottom of Alliance Av.?   A family of Mc Crums was related to my father through his cousin Jean Mc Crum who went to Montreal  a long looooooooooong time ago.Doris"s family are the same family. BTW Edenderry School was used as our church once during the early 1950"s.

hi my husband raymond johnston lived ewarts row and walton street . he knew the coates well and lived two doors down from mccrumbs . his brother was campbell and larnettes his sister she married john peeple. his aunts who have both pssed away were jean and belle mccleeland. his aunt sally andrews aso lived on walton street as did his granny peg campbell. his parents are belle and ray johnston. hows things with you.

MINA MOVED TO WALTON THEN TO A BUNGALOW ON OLDPARK  ROAD SHE LIVED NEXT DOOR TO MY HUBBYS GRANDMOTHER [PEGGY] MARGARET CAMPBELL UNTIL SHE DIED A FEW YEARS AGO.

knew Tommy Dinsmore from Ewart's Row married Sally Yates from our St, Brussels st. sadly both now deceased still have contact with Sally's Brother.

does anyone remember lizzie potter who alays used to chase me and muy mates away she was always shoutin at us to et away frm her front door .

hi jmac yes the name was coats .maureen was in my class at school .recall a few other names also .clark. fergeuson.gardiner ,crothers.mccullock, :scratch_ones_head: just lost my memory  lol  ;)

Hello, sorry to be slow on this one - only just remembered I'd joined!
Does anyone remember the Kincaids at no 48? They were my mother's family - she left in the mid-1960's. Her name was Sally Kincaid then and she'd love to be in touch with anyone who might remember her. Will have to get her to give me the names of everyone she remembers.
