I note that the plans are 1922. Layout of the city didnít ralyy change much until the 70s and onwards

I wonder why it doesn't show any of our streets peter I'm sure our houses were there before 1922,

I noticed that Jimmy. Lots of streets. Grosvenor Park as well is missing. The map probably concentrated on main roads and thoroughfares

Jimmy, hope you enjoyed your beers and the music. Billy Fury and Elvis Presley were loved by us all. I think?

Big fire in Turin Street October 1936.  Most of Molineau family dead on arrival at RVH.    Clothes horse left in front of fire to air childrenís clothes for next day

TJ Molineaux and his family must have died between 1932 and 1943.  In 1943 F Molineaux, maybe a son, had taken over the home and still lived there in 1951.  Does anyone know anything more about this tragic event or about the Molineaux family?

Moorsy forgot to say.  Info on Turin Street fire on page 382.

While we live the thread goes on but we are the last generation with memories of the old Grosvenor Road.

While we live the thread goes on but we are the last generation with memories of the old Grosvenor Road.  So the last man standing will switch off the light and close the door and that will be the end of the people and the streets we knew so long ago
