My surnames Barry and I remember my dad always going on about one of our neighbours called Reid who was a Band Major or something and when I joined the Army in 1982 a bloke introduced himself to me and he was Bob Reid who was the son of the aforementioned Band Major.

I lived just over the bridge in Sunnyside Bungalows. I remember a few kids who lived in Botanic Bungalows: Maura MacAleavy and Seany and Jackie Scott.
