I'am a bit young to remember Higgie at the Jampot...but we used to go on the beak from Kelvin and go to the Jampot. On route we would pinch some sweets from the sweetie factory next door.

there is already a thread about the jampot and one a snooker. the snooker one is I think under sports. Higgy used to come and watch me play at the jampot instead of going to school.

Just about remember the jampot and the sweetie factory, think it closed when i was about 10. See Higgy most days running about the Row, he lives just facing the taxi place I work in, he still tells me some good stories about him and my da when they went to Linfield school together.

I was in the Jampot many many times.  In fact my brother in law used to own it but I can't remember the factory. When was the sweetie factory there?  I left Belfast in 65

cecil wrote a couple of books for Alex and I am in them, seeing as Cecil is your brother in law just mention Georgie Kirkwood. You would most likely know my nephew Joe Kerr.
