What number did your family live in.  My family lived there in the 40s 50s etc.  We could have a good old chat here

I am doing my family tree and I know my mother in law lived in seventh  Street she is 87 years old and has great memories there.  Her name was Nicholl.  I will look up my papers and come back to you asap

Have found this old post for 2010 regarding seventh street.  I had some cousins that grew up there in the 40's through to the 60's at number 34 Seventh Street. Their parents names were  - Tommy & Ivy Murdock and they had five children - Jackie,Joy,Ivy,Molly,Emily.  My Aunt Ivy's father owned a pub at 44 North Howard Street - his name was John Wallace and in later years his daughter Josie took over the running of the pub.

The Bairds were cousins of my Mum Ellen McClure. Mrs Baird and my Granny who lived at 15 were sisters. Be nice to hear if you got any more info.
