Hi, I used to know people from Wincroft Way. Sally Bramble, Sam Martin His mum Mary and Dad Hiram. Jean Lilley and her husband who drove a taxi. I wonder how they are all fairing noe. It is almost 40 years since I left Belfast (8 August 1970)

Carol lives in California, Joan in Canada and John in New Zealand, May and Harry live with Joan and spend the winters with Carol. You must know my husband Jim then, John and he were mates.

No I was from the lower end of Ravenswood right across from the school but I used to hang out with a lot from the upper estate.

Andrew Orme's panoramic view of Belfast which was taken from the Middle Braniel Road, to the south of the city, on the Castlereagh Hills. www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/United_Kingdom/photo447291.htm

Young people from the Braniel area have transformed a wall which was once covered in graffiti by turning it into a mural on the story of Belfast. http://tinyurl.com/dku9y5

Do any of you Braniel guys remember the late Patrick Mitchell who, amongst other interests, was Chairman of the Braniel Youth Club ???

Good onya Collie, your memory is brilliant, The Braniel in those days wasn't a bad place to grow up. As you say we all had our moments but all in all I thinkn all of us had a pretty happy childhood.  I think catching spricks and stickle backs in the wee stream must have clicked a switch in our heads because here we are at opposite ends of the world and still chasing fish hahahahaha.  I would love to know about all the people you have named, how they fared and where they are now.
