Erin i didnt realise that , my fathers auntie lived there , and he come from lower clonard street , played that way manys atime at my grannies

hi cyprus girl,welcome to belfast forum,I went for a while with sadie canavan in 1962,she lived 21,cyprus street,she also went to canada, but RIP I read on the forum that she died in canada jan 2000,we used to go to clarke's dance hall,donegal st and astor ballroom.hope you enjoy the forum as you will get wealth of knowledge from schools,dance halls,shops,mills etc.

Our family(Fennells) lived in Varna Stret which backed onto Cyprus Street.

A good Family friend lived there Alec Comerford.

Hi harrison no I don't remember a Sadie Canavan but I was talking to my older sister on the phone and she knew her, my sister also went to clarks as well, I went to st Louises school with a Canavan from masserene st. :smile:
