I KNEW AGGIE  SHE USED TO LIVE IN HARRISON ST  AND SHE WAS MY SPINNER IN EWARTS , SHE WAS RELATED TO THE WHYLIES AND THE BOOMERS , :smile:

she was great craic, i was 17 and she was 35, then if its the same one,she used to suck iced lollies all day, it was hot in the spinning rooms, she would take shortcuts into the city down northumberland st, even during the troubles.i used to see her in castle st a lot.

Back in the sixties, I knew a guy called Michael(?) Ferguson from Wilton St, lived near the Sunday School, and got called Penny Eyes cos of the NHS specials he wore! Also knew a Gilly White, but wasn't sure if he came from Wilton St or Urney St.
I once read that smoking and drinking were bad for you, so I gave up reading.

Late wife was from the wee Square.
Then we lived in Canmore St from 1958 until coming to Montreal 1968.
Her brother Andy lived in Wilton St Shankill end.
Other brother Jim (Jimper) lived in Urney St

Of course I remember you, back at the beginning when we would go over all our experiences with the school clinic and dentist etc.  Remember you telling me about your first coat and you thought you were lovely all dressed up. You are a beautiful lady in so many ways, I always love reading your posts and look forward to many more.
