Great night out - Hit one woman show at the Grand Opera House
« on: August 13, 2010, 06:12:01 PM »
Not every woman gets to spend a night with George Clooney, but Bridie Murphy does! Letís face it, Bridieís life hasnít been all parties and premieres like Georgeís, but itís a life full of drama nonetheless. Over the course of one evening, she takes George on the journey of her life. From the terrible lows to the hilarious highs, and charts the course to her unlikely future. A Night With George is a new and indigenous piece of writing, brought to you by West Belfastís own, Brassneck Theatre Company. With the all-important razor sharp black Belfast humour, this hilarious night of theatre is sure to leave everyone wishing that they too could spend 'A Night With George'!

The wife is just back from seeing this play in St Kevins hall. She's raving about it, says it's brilliant.

Bernie the wife says the language in it is wild, but that's what makes it so funny.

I thought you were gonna tell us it was somebody exciting  like Stevie Wonder, Barry McIlduff, Iris, or the Pope.

I had a great night with Gerry back in the mid 90's, and most of sinn fein at a dinner bash in the city hall, I was very very drunk and of my face, so to speak. He found it amusing that I was wearing a kilt, he even asked to have his photo taken with me. ..weird night.  .carry on. ... ;)
