Hi does anyone remember two guys who are twins lived off the Donegall road about 25 years back, one was called Raymond nickname “chubby”.  Think he was married to a girl called Isobel for a time? Think they actually lived Donegall ave, would be late 40’s early 50’s now?

Does anyone remember Fitzys sweet shop in Runnymede (off Tates Ave) or Johnstone the ice cream man ?

I remember Fitzys shop, My Ma sent me round there almost every night, though i didnt mind as i always got a few free sweets, one thing i hated taking short cut behind Blakeys house as his dogs always scared me lol

The barber shop on the corner of colchester street was john maxwells.  Dont know if he was still going at that stage.  The next shop front going back at one stage was goldie the dentist and then the boarded up shop at one time was helen and allans newsagents.  The corner shop in my time was Baxters the chemist. The corner shop on the other side of barrington street i dont know.  Memories.
