Hi Sandgroper.  Great photos of Esperance.  It's a really beautiful place with gorgeous beaches.  Have you any pictures of the Albany area?  I love that town.  KC

Thank you for your kind comments people. KC I have just spent a couple of hours hunting for film type photos of Albany which I've had for years. The old Gaol, the Amity, Strawberry farm and places like that. Somehow they seem to have grown legs. Am also having trouble scanning the Koombana photos of the dolphins. Hard to believe they could have faded so much, but may save a couple.

Any how here are a few of Nornalup which isn't too far from Albany

And some of the Porongurups

And the coast near Albany

Finish with an old shack and an older windmill. Both near Albany

Thanks again IC. It really is a beautiful corner of the world. The scenic diversity is unbelievable.
Tonight I'll post a few of the forrest and the tree top walk around Pemberton. My son and his wife were over from Scotland and are in some of them.

Hi sj I was worried about the jail during my visit. Anxious about being allowed to exit. Thanks for the kind words, but you know you'll only encourage me. So saying he posts more.

I've been trying to scan some old film type photos of Koombana Bay without a great deal of success. You wouldn't believe they could fade so much. Most of them are completely white. A friend told me it was the transparent protective covers that caused it. Some chemicals in them reacted and bleached the photos.
I've managed to sorta save four. So here they are.

And a couple of more recent digital ones

This last one shows the Leschenault Inlet in the foreground and Koombana Bay in the middle ground and I'm just lucky enough to live in between, with the Indian ocean about a kilometer towards the left. So hard to take especially with the slightly warm weather we've been having lately.

Talking to my son in Scotland last night and told him it was 38 degrees. He said so what it was 30 there. But that was fahrenheit..lol.. The snow was 2 foot deep in the middle of Brechin. Dont really envy them.

Great photos SG.  It's a beautiful spot.  Love the ones of the dolphins.  We saw dolphins swimming up the Swan River just up from the Raffles Pub one day when we were on a picnic.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, I'll post some of the Avon valley, taken from a hot air balloon.
