Why don't you post your photos of Belfast ?  ::) Be sensible, if you confine it to photos of Belfast only, the thread will die out. Who wants to see that ?

"Belfast Forum Belfast Boards Old Belfast Photos (Moderator: valkerr) EVERY BLACK & WHITE PHOTO TELLS A STORY"

Ditto the quoted comment addressed to Boxer.

I doubt if anyone would take much issue or exception to an occasional deviation from a strictly Belfast related theme,... but that's a very different thing from a concerted and ongoing complete departure.

I am a keen photographer and love all good photographs. But when it comes to stories and history you can't beat black and white. I think Photoshop should  be left out from this thread. It is the most popular thread on the forum so lets keep it like that.  I can understand Boxer's frustration.

Think I have to answer a few off the smart Alecs on this Forum I am far from begin stupid, This site says Belfast Forum so we all treat it as something from home, Boxer has put up photos for a number off years and they are nearly all Belfast related I have always Admired his posts and have told him so,  I like others do not mind an odd picture off something or someone else but lets try and keep it Belfast and Proud. Rant over Thanks Brilliant site

Harland & Wolff, Belfast around 1963. In the foreground is the tanker `Rimfonn` built for Norwegian owners. At the time of delivery to her owners she was the largest ship Harland & Wolff had built and the largest ship built in the U.K. She was 50,000 grt and remarkably she lasted until 2012 a life of 49 years. True testament to the men who built her.   :)

I've came across some old photos that I'd taken around the late 60s early 70s and I'm not too sure if they will be of interest or are we all fed up with being reminded about "the past".
Would explain quality isn't the best. Here's a few examples
