Once again, marvellous photographs, bringing back so many lovely memories of when the World was a more gracious and
delightful place.

Thank you CMcG and Welder for that.

Sadly, all the photos downloaded through tinypic. com are now disappearing.   :(

Twenty past three on Thursday 12 September 2019 and from what I can see, lots of photos posted to this topic have now been replaced with a TinyPic message, I knew that TinyPic were closing down the uploading service, but didn't think that they would pull the plug  on photos already posted.  I didn't use them, but I'm conscious that many others did.

This is similar to the consequence of what Photobucket did a while back... I DID use them, and lost hundreds of photos (and countless hours posting them).

I hope the TinyPic photos on this topic haven't been lost, but if so, that's a disgrace.

If there are any images posted above that are important to you, take your own copy - I cannot guarantee they will appear indefinitely.

Van Heflin 2nd from left, he was a solid actor, great in 'Shane':

He was also good in '3:10 to Yuma', as was Glenn Ford, another solid actor that doesn't get a mention nowadays.
I donít think the above pic is of Glenn Ford.  Alan Ladd.

I used to frequent Pinewood Studios with my job in the 70í& 80ís. There was a dwarf wall, about 3 blocks high that was constructed for Alan Ladd to walk on to enable the Director to get the proper framing.  he was a very small guy 😳
