Pendower Primary School, Newcastle, 1 July, 1957. Sent in by Paul Thompson of Perth, Western Australia. "I am third from the left in the second row, with Colin Waugh on my right hand side, taken in the grassed outside square in the middle of the school. I can remember I was one of the few kids who could throw a ball up to the senior girls school, who had their playground two storeys up on the roof of the building, whenever a ball came sailing down to us in our playground."
