It’s a pity that Boxer1949 no longer contributes to the Forum. He created this thread 10 years ago and gave many people so much pleasure and memories with the Black & White Photographs that he listed. Unfortunately different “hosts” decided to make charges to post images which came as a bit of a blow to the thousands of photographs that were obscured or withdrawn on the thread and within the Forum in general.
However the thread also took a downturn when people started to post Coloured Photographs, why? Polite messages from Boxer and others including myself made comment and tried for all posts to stay “Black & White” but as you can see the request were ignored. Such a pity   goes against the ethos of the thread.

Don't give up, Boxer. Plough the same furrow regardless.

Alarmed not to see boxer1949 posting anymore.  I hope he's well.  I miss the chats about his Belfast photos and his original Belfast theme appears to have been hijacked somewhat?  His photos brought back memories and so much pleasure to so may members   C'mon Boxer, your followers miss your long standing contribution and will be pleased to see you back ... doing what you do best.

Some recents post on this thread have inspired me not to let it die. With your support I intend to re kindle some of the interest that was generated by Boxer1949 and I just hope that he’s taking a breather and I look forward to his return in the near future.

I cannot recall all of my previous posts of BLACK & WHITE photos and I apologise in advance for the repeats. I will never fill Boxer’s shoes but i’m just minding his thread.

Hope you enjoy.
