Of course, I was not there for that meet, but I would have to concur!

Those whom we accept, ARE,  Ladies & who were in attendance on the day, remained just that - LADIES! ;)

That's me on drums. Sadly Ned, Joe & George are no longer with us. Taken at the Railway Antrim.

my granny worked in the Fiesta and I remember her talking about the showbands, Eileen Reid from the cadets had to borrow my granny's shoes one night!!  My mum also met my dad there, in the ladies choice.

CAN'T SAY I KNOW THE NAME   TOO YOUNG CAN ONLY REMEMBER TONY MORRELLI
Sad news Tony Morelli died today after a long illness, he was the best entertainer Belfast ever had
Indifference is the essence of inhumanity

Time really passes very quickly.   I can remember him as a young person singing with the Witnesses. :(

Congratulations Harrty Dunne! Those were the days. Great music and many a match was made in the dance halls.  We met in the Orpheus and were married within a year and a half. Just celebrated 51 years and we still 'fancy' each other!!  He said at the time we'd HAVE to get married because he kept missing his last bus home!  He's still romantic like that!!  🤣🤣
