Looking for some of my cousins from Ardoyne, 38 Brompton park.
Marther,Alice and Josephine O'Kane.
The last I new was that Josephine was up by Broadway and Alice was in Dublin.

I think you may mean 138 Brompton Park BT14 7LB Ardoyne.

I remember a Patrick O'Kane from the lower end of Brompton Park.
Think he worked as a joiner in Mickey Mooney's yard in Kerrera Street.
Sadly he died quite young in a road traffic accident RIP.
Would this be the same family ?

Hi BREENBOX, Yes Patrick was my cousin, A very sad time, we had not long moved over to England when it happened .Patrick was also a very good drummer RIP.Just looking for some of the rest of the family.Thank

I only have vague memories of Patrick's family. I know he had older brothers.
We used to call him by his nickname.. 'Pussy', don't know how he got the name.
He was a good lad.   Good luck with your search for the other family members.

I lived almost facing 138 brompton, I was in 147 and (Mrs) Kitty Okane was a close friend of my mothers. The house (138) is empty at the min and is being renovated. I assume its been sold on or whatever. 136 was the morris family.

I grew up on Brompton Pk. I left in the sixities
I vaguely remember a Kane family that lived
across the street from Johnstons the chimney

there was a kathleen kane who died years ago her husband and children r still in ardoyne
