We were in Whitehead about 6 weeks ago....saw the Rangers club which is quite modern and still in the swimming pool. ;)

Hi SJ
I've been back a month now it was about 2 months ago I have pics of the night but dont want to show them.
Whitehead looks so much better with the colour in the foreshore buidings. My uncle lived there in the late seventies and my dad thought about moving there around that time but a talked him out of making the move, anyway I could probably move there now.
Didn't want to go in the swimming pool years ago, and I didn't this time either.

All the Best

Roadracer. .I loved the train journey to Whitehead but used to ride a bike to there sometimes when I was about 10 yrs old. Eventually my wife and I went to live there.
If I have asked you this question before please forgive me but where do you live in Australia.  It would be good to organise a meeting of say...all the people who live in Brisbane or Sydney or Melbourne.  We have had to the best of my knowledge two small meetings in Bellefast"s place outside Perth and Kraftcheese has met a few people in Victoria . ;) ..good luck
