I was there from 1945 to 51/2 Mr Dempsey was the Principle before Cush My teachers were Miss Caraher,Miss Cleery, Mr Doolan( First year he started) for two years Bob McCreave for the rest of my years at Holy Family. Best teacher in this country.Miss Cleery smoked like a trooper.

 I didn't go to the Holy Family school but knew a lot of people who did.   I think that Sweeney Todd is about the only person whom I am in contact with on a regular basis.  I met Brendan Murphy at Christmas who was at the school( in Australia ).  I always mean to contact Patrick Mc Daid who is in Canada and I believe that Peter Murray who lived in H.K. and the Philippines may have died recently.
I knew Gerry Burns as well but he seems not to know me. 
I'm patient with stupidity but not with those who are proud of it ...
