some suggestions for pubs and clubs
« on: March 23, 2011, 09:51:32 PM »
Hello, was looking for some local knowledge about where would be the best sort of trendy pubs/bars and nightclubs to go to. My friend and I have booked a weekend away to Belfast and will be looking to go out Fri, Sat and Sunday night to try a few different places. Its out first time in Belfast so shall be blind as they say.

We are staying in the city centre, both are 24 year old females from Scotland and into any music really but mainly chart stuff/indie sort of music and a bit of dance so a good variety would be great.

any advice on where to go/avoid would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Misselle

head to the cathedral quarter area on the sat night. the duke of york, the spaniard, the cloth ear and muriels are all great bars . Around the corner is the victoria centre with loads of restaurants as well. Laverys up in shaftesbury square is worth a vist as is the empire and aunt annies for live music. For a mid afternoon cocktail/beer check out the apartment beside belfast city hall

enjoy your stay

Brennans Bar on Great Victoria Street. used to be The Beaten Docket.
I GUARANTEE you a great night, with the best in music, or i'll give you your entry money back!
