Photos from 60s in the Short Strand

Looking for photos of the short strand taken in the 50s 60s.

there is two threads on i thinks it is exiles and memories with a lot of photos  on them hopefully they will be of some help  or put shortstrand into the search box   my husband family lived there  middle to late 60's

Thanks Chink, I believe you are marrie to Seanie O'Neill,Anderson St. I new him very well back then. Ask him if he remembers making the banner for St Augustines football team which beat Orangefield in the schools cup final at Solitude,1968 I think.

Here Rocco...you may want to try and contact a fellow named Frankie Quinn from the Strand....he's well known for his photo's of the area.  Your man Buffalo Burger on here knows how to get in touch.  As well the yearly calander has some brilliant photo's ...can get it from the St. Matthews club, or the wee shop on the Mountpotinger road.
