That's amazing. .I can remember the Rotary International promise of eliminating Polio by 2000 and that had almost happened . :)

Unless you're a direct descendant of one of the ancient Celtic clans then you too are a foreigner and should go home. I can trace my ancestry back to the year 70 bc, with a direct bloodline to one of the most renowned Celtic clans. Too many foreigners?  Great, when do you all leave.  :)

I did not think it was possible to trace one's ancestry back that far...how did you manage it?

You can't get back any further than the middle 16th century as working class.
But the rich landowners and royalty can go back much further.

my family is not Celtic except on my mom"s side (Scottish) but the celts landed in top of the inhabitants, De Danan and fir Bolg. Everybody comes from somewhere else. My wife's family were in Ireland a Thousand years... From Normandy

Correct Mark70, if you're a pleb then unfortunately the 16th/17th century is as far back as you ca go, but belonging to an ancient Celtic clan who ruled over one of the Kingdoms I was able to trace the bloodline back through the centuries.
