A wonderful capture certainly brings back the memories my grand parents lived in number 39 Rowland Street their name was Martin and raised believe it or not 15 children , now the house only had 2 bedrooms up stairs and 1 pokey room down stairs i still to this day can not work it out where everyone bedded down washing and shaving and meal times must have been a night mare , there was a water tap behind the front door imagine that next door was a beer wine and spirits off licence a shop across the street and white washed houses at the opposite side of the street , they all worked when age came about and only my grandmother was at home to attend to cleaning dusting washing and dinners the young ones now a days would not know how to make a dinner it would be off to MCDonalds , thank you for this beautiful photo it is just a treasure .
