Good photographs; I was there in the late 60's. The class in the left corner of the main building was Mr O'Malley for English and the upstairs shot was Mr?? for Geography (he was from Keady and worked as a milkman in the summer holidays). We played hand-ball against the wall just inside the gates on the left, out of shot.

Great pics!  Thanks for sharing.  I went along to the closing of the school some years ago & sat in a lot of my old seats.  Especially the art rooms.

One of my brothers went there, probably started about 1959 or 60 - lovely pictures.

I was a first year in 1965 - long time ago - but Paul Clarke UTV presenter (4th photo) hasn't changed much

John,

I only have the photos extracted from the 1965 Simmarion magazine and have posted them here. Maybe someone else has photos from an earlier year but I don't know how many issues of the St Mary's magazine were produced.

best wishes

Paddy

Thank you Paddy.
I don't believe there was a magazine in my day. I don't remember any photos being taken!

John,

I'm not surprised - I'm in the published photos and I can't remember them being taken in 1965!

regards

Paddy
